Deacons and Elders are needed to serve communion to the members of the Westminster Winter Park Community. One important ministry of this church is to serve communion to those who reside at Westminster Winter Park. We are the only church to offer “Open Table” communion, meaning we invite all people to the table, not just those of our own congregation. For many, this is the only communion service they are able to attend. Deacons and Elders who wish to assist can be those who currently serve on their respective board as well as those who are not currently active. Volunteers will meet at Westminster Winter Park, set up the communion elements, serve communion, and clean up. It usually takes about one hour to complete.
